Thank you for choosing Genetic Fusion! Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction and complete transparency. Please read these policies carefully before purchasing.

Payment & Pricing

  • Accepted payment methods: To be determined.

  • All prices are in USD and subject to change without notice as animals grow and mature. Prices quoted or agreed upon during active negotiations will be honored.

  • Full payment is required at the time of purchase unless a payment plan has been explicitly approved.

  • All payments and deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

Payment Plans (Case-by-Case)

  • Available on purchases of $500+.

  • Typical terms: 20–30% non-refundable deposit, with the balance due within 30–90 days (exact terms agreed in writing).

  • Once the deposit is received, the animal is removed from the market and held at no additional boarding cost.

  • If the buyer defaults on the agreed plan, the animal will be relisted, and any payments beyond the non-refundable deposit will be refunded only after the animal resells at current market value.

Live Animal Shipping (Continental USA)

  • All live reptiles are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight exclusively to your nearest FedEx Ship Center (Hub – Hold for Pickup). We do not offer door-to-door delivery for live reptiles. (Isopod cultures ship FedEx 2Day to a hub, and supplies and merchandise ship door-to-door – see below.)

  • Shipping rates: $65–$120 per box. Exact cost depends on your zone, box size, weight, and current safe-shipping-window rates. You will receive an exact quote before final payment.

  • We strictly follow all FedEx and Reptiles Express/Redline shipping guidelines, along with Genetic Fusion’s own safe-shipping standards.

  • Shipments go out Monday–Wednesday only to avoid weekend holds.

  • A tracking number will be provided. The buyer must pick up the animal at the FedEx hub within 2 hours of its first availability for the Live Arrival Guarantee to apply.

Live Arrival Guarantee

Our live, healthy arrival guarantee applies when:

  • The animal is shipped to a FedEx hub,

  • The package is picked up within 2 hours of arrival, and

  • The buyer notifies us of any issue (with clear photos/video) within 4 hours of pickup.

DOA: Full refund or replacement of equal value (buyer's choice, when available).

Sick/injured on arrival (reported within 4 hours of pickup, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in advance): Store credit or replacement after review.

Health & Sex Guarantee

  • All animals are guaranteed healthy, parasite-free, and eating appropriately at the time of shipping.

  • Sex is guaranteed. The buyer must verify and report any discrepancy within 24 hours of receipt.

  • Weight will be within ±20% of the advertised weight at the time of shipping.

  • We are not responsible for feeding issues, temperament, or refusal to feed after the animal leaves our care.

Genetics Guarantee

  • Recessive genes (het or visual homozygous): 100% guaranteed for the life of the animal.

  • Proven (tested) genes: 100% guaranteed.

  • Incomplete-dominant / co-dominant genes: Guaranteed to the best of our knowledge based on parental lineage and visual expression. We do not guarantee that unproven incomplete-dominant genes will prove out 100% in breeding trials.

  • "Possible het" or "theoretical" combos are clearly labeled as such and sold with no genetic guarantee beyond accurate representation of the parents.

Returns & Refunds (Live Animals)

  • All sales are final except in cases of DOA or legitimate guarantee claims outlined above.

  • Buyer's remorse returns are not accepted. We encourage questions before purchase.

Pet Supplies & Merchandise

These terms apply to non-animal purchases such as hides, feeding ledges, enclosure accessories, and merch.

  • Shipping: Supplies and merchandise ship door-to-door to your address via standard ground or Priority Mail service (USPS, UPS, or FedEx, based on package size and destination). FedEx Hub pickup is not required. Shipping costs are shown at checkout, a tracking number is provided, and supplies ship within the continental USA only.

  • Most supplies are 3D printed and made to order; please allow 7–10 business days for production before shipping. Slight variations in color or texture between print runs are normal and are not considered defects.

  • 30-day returns: Unused items in their original condition may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Contact us first to start a return.

  • Return shipping is paid by the buyer, and original shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

  • Damaged, defective, or incorrect items: Contact us with photos within 7 days of delivery and we will replace the item or issue a full refund, including shipping.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after we receive the returned item.

  • Custom or personalized orders are final sale unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Live Isopod Cultures

  • Isopod cultures ship via FedEx 2Day to your nearest FedEx Ship Center (Hub – Hold for Pickup), Monday–Wednesday only, with heat or cold packs when needed. We do not offer door-to-door delivery for isopod cultures. As live animals, isopod cultures are not eligible for the 30-day return policy.

  • Live Arrival Guarantee for isopods: Every culture is packed with extra isopods beyond the count listed for that culture, to help offset any losses during shipping. The package must be picked up at the FedEx hub within 4 hours of arrival, and any issue (DOA, or fewer live isopods than the count listed for that culture) must be reported with clear photos/video within 4 hours of pickup. If both are met, we will replace the culture or issue a refund.

International Shipping

We do not offer international shipping on animals or supplies at this time.

Communication & Buyer Protection

  • We respond to messages within 24 hours (usually much faster).

  • If Genetic Fusion fails to respond for 14+ consecutive days after payment is received, the buyer is entitled to a full refund (including any non-refundable portions).

  • We reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone we believe cannot provide proper long-term care.

Holding Animals

If temperatures are within the safe shipping range and the buyer requests a hold, a $20/week boarding/feeding fee will apply after the first 7 days.
